Well-Being, Physical Health Or Mental Health:
The theme of balance particularly holds true for this card in terms of health. Energy work aimed at balancing your chakras and/or your body/mind/spirit is particularly effective and helpful health wise now. Are you paying adequate attention to all three? If not, now’s the time. The benefits are far greater than any effort you can put out. Your health is most likely in better shape than you fear.

This card is often about balance. It will be important for you to keep your balance in every way that you can – even to the mundane, boring things like eating right and getting enough rest. These things will be very helpful to you during this time. The Two of Wands also often indicates a partnership with one other person. This can be business or personal, or both.

Elements of the Psychic World: Clairsentients who work with environmental energy believe that everything that happens within an environment affects the way it feels. For example, there is a dis-cernable difference between the feeling of a room used by people who respect and love each other and the feeling of a room in which people have been in bitter competition. Practitioners of the art of feng shui know a great deal about the need to balance environmental energy, and in feng shui the placing of objects such as mirrors and ornaments can help to regulate energy that is out of balance and create a healthier, more harmonious atmosphere in which to live and work.

Reversed Cards: The Two of Wands sees a young Mars showing off his talents, and just like a prideful adolescent, this card in the shadow aspect could indicate you are getting too big for your britches and no one wants to hear you yabber on about how great you are anymore. So you can set things on fire while standing on your head. Good for you. But without the support of others, all those wonderful plans of yours will go up in smoke. This card lets you know you have big ideas and a passion to match, but heres the rub: you cant pull it off on your own. If this card has shown up in your daily draw or reading, you may need to adjust your attitude and make sure you are not alienating those who can actually help you pull off your dreams, goals, and desires.
Portable Magic: In full rituals, the elemental altar has the distinction of being erected in the working space first, before any other tarot cards are laid. Symbolically, it is the zone of the four lower elements and must be created as a firm foundation upon which to build the rest of the ritual structures. It is also the elevated platform upon which the significator representing the magician resides during ritual, and so must be brought into existence before the significator can be placed.

Portable Magic: In an attempt to stabilize the meanings of the trumps, and render them to some extent independent of their changeable images, occult schools applied various systems of correspondences to the trumps. These are sets of esoteric symbols that are attached to each trump, and by their association modify and limit the meaning of the trump independent of any pictorial symbolism that appears on the card, or any changes that may be made to existing symbolism. Ideally, the meanings imposed through a system of correspondences will be in harmony with the inherent traditional meanings of the trumps. The most successful system of occult correspondences for the trumps is that developed by the late nineteenth century English Rosicrucian society, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, about which more will be written in chapter 4.
