Faith, Spirituality Or Psychic Progression:
The Three of Primordialism reversed indicates that you can benefit from fellowship now in order to deepen your spirituality. Even if you consider your spiritual side to be intensely private and dislike talking with others about it, this is an excellent time to consider and learn from the experiences and attitudes of others to their spirituality. Reach out in whatever way you can.

The Three of Primordialism is often considered to be a card of ‘reunions.’ But this is not always a romantic reunion, alas it’s reunion in the broadest sense, running back into (or meeting with, purposefully) someone or something that you have been away from for some time. It’s generally considered to be a happy reunion, an upbeat card.

Elements of the Psychic World: Considered by some to be the greatest occult and mystical teacher of all time, and by others as a complete fraud, Georgei Ivanovitch Gurdjieff founded the Gurdjieff system, a series of physical and psycho-spiritual exercises designed to jolt people out of their somnambulist state.

Reversed Cards: Learning about death is really just learning about life. Death plays out in every aspect of our lives. In fact, there is no area of our physical experience that death does no touch. Relationships, people, pets, plants, jobs, careeryou name it, death is there. The mirror aspect of the Death card wants you to look closer, to see every place death is present. See where its energy of rebirth, recycling, and new beginnings is showing up in your life. Because wherever death is, there is life, new life, new energy being taught forth into the world. Look deeper still and see how death is playing out in your thoughts, habits, beliefs, and body. Every part of your body dies and begins again before it becomes worm food. Your organs, your bones, your cellsthey all regenerate. Every single part of you has been reborn again and again. Yet here you are filled with the life force energy that death provided for you.
Tarot Triumphs: I was nervous and self-conscious when Raz and I met. He looked me up and down, did not seem impressed by what he saw, and began his Tarot discourse. He laid out the twenty-two Trump cards of the Major Arcana in a big circle on the floor, with the Fool at the center. When it was complete, we stood in the middle. There we were, in a large, empty room, enclosed by a magic circle of cards. It was not alarming, but it was eerie. There were no props or decorations to distract us, so the cards would be just what we made of them, right there in that space. As my second Tarot master, I now recall Raz as a dark, forceful character who considered himself an authority.

Tarot Card Meanings: Older sources, including traditional fortune tellers, argue against reading the cards for yourself. This is largely ignored today and it’s perfectly possible to read Tarot cards for yourself. However, the ‘warning’ seems to be based on sound common sense, in that the temptation to constantly read the cards when small problems in life arise is considerable! The cards are better read infrequently for yourself and you should by no means base every decision in life on readings! Traditional sources actually view a card reading as a ‘snapshot’ of things to come and do not argue that the outcome in the cards is either inevitable or unavoidable. Reading the Tarot can be a good way to learn more about yourself, your past and areas in your life that may require action or change. If you do regularly read your own cards, or use them to examine smaller issues in life, simply using the Minor Arcana (or a deck of standard playing cards) can be a sensible way to do so.
