Family, Friends & Relationships:
The reversed Three is still a very positive card, you can look forward to at least one pleasant reunion with someone or something that you have been apart from for some time. There is a sense of feeling supported by friends and family. Make a point to stay in touch with people now.
Card Meanings: Lack Of Friends, Overindulgence, Miscarriage, Cancelled Celebrations, Over Indulgence, Pain, Gossip, Termination, Broken Engagements, Lack Of Social Life, Gossiping, Hidden, Cheating, Bitchiness, Cancelled Weddings
The Three of Cups is often considered to be a card of ‘reunions.’ But this is not always a romantic reunion, alas it’s reunion in the broadest sense, running back into (or meeting with, purposefully) someone or something that you have been away from for some time. It’s generally considered to be a happy reunion, an upbeat card.

Here are some snippets from a few of my favorite books
Elements of the Psychic World: James Hyslop was born on 18 August 1854 to Presbyterian parents and grew up on a farm in Ohio. When he was ten his brother and sister died of scarlet fever, leaving him with a life-long preoccupation with death. His family expected him to enter the ministry but he had a crisis of faith and went to study philosophy instead. He received a PhD in psychology from Johns Hopkins University and then taught ethics and logic at Columbia.

Creative Tarot: The Three of Cups is specifically about female friendship. That does not mean the card isnt relevant to you men out there reading this. Men should have women friends, too. There is a lightness, an empathy, and a strong connection between lifelong female friends. They pick you up when youre down, they will talk you through your problems, they will bring you champagne when you have something worth celebrating. (If your friends are good enough, they will look at just about everything you do as worthy of celebrating with champagne.)
Tarot Triumphs: Since Tarot is a fluid, imaginative medium of divination, it is best used, in my view, to give readings for others. However, when you are first learning to work with the cards, you may need to use yourself for practice. In this case, I suggest picking a question where the issue is a minor one, a matter of harmless interest, or even about a situation completely outside your own affairs. ‘Why is she being so difficult at the moment?’ might pinpoint the passing trouble with a friend who isn’t her usual self. ‘What kind of holiday should I take?’ could give you some useful ideas for your next vacation. You could even have fun trying to figure out who will win the next election.

Reversed Cards: The Ace of Pentacles is just like a wheel. It can roll. It can roll forward and backward, and it can fall flat on its face. In its upright position, we presume it would create forward movement with the opportunity it brings. Here in the retrograde aspect, it would be just as easy to presume that the card creates backward movement. But throwing things in reverse is not the only thing a retrograding Ace of Pentacles can represent. It might not be moving at all. The other cards around the retrograding ace will let you know what sort of movement, if any, is going on here.
