Finance, Money Matters Or Debt:

As with the upright card, this is an important time to not be too attached to money. What you are ‘worth’ has nothing to do with the size of your paycheck. Money will likely be flowing in just fine; but may be going out just as fast or nearly as fast. Don’t allow yourself to give in to feelings of jealousy about other peoples’ finances. Just take care of your own.

Card Meanings: Lack Of Friends, Overindulgence, Miscarriage, Cancelled Celebrations, Over Indulgence, Pain, Gossip, Termination, Broken Engagements, Lack Of Social Life, Gossiping, Hidden, Cheating, Bitchiness, Cancelled Weddings

Ah – the Lord of Abundance is one of my very favourite cards! It nudges me to consider, in the hurly burly of life, the vast wellspring of love and nourishment from which we all arise. This card is about rare and eternal love – the kind that makes no demands, places no expectations, and imposes no conditions. For me personally, this love flows from the Mother of the Universe – for you, the name by which you call it may be different, but the source remains the same. This inrushing power and force is available to all of us, if we give it the opportunity to flow into our lives. It reshapes our perspective, strengthens our resolve and nurtures us through even the most demanding of periods. It brings serenity, exhilaration, passion and contentment into life, by its simple presence.

So here’s a little exercise to open yourself out and let the love flow in. This works at any time at all…whenever you try it. And remember this always….the most important time to try this exercise is when you feel lost, wounded, sad and alone. Sit down and make yourself comfortable. Give your shoulders a roll around to rid them of tension and open out your chest area. Now steady your breathing….make it easy and calm. This will encourage you to relax just a little more. When your body feels as comfortable as you can get it to, concentrate your attention on the area right in the middle of your chest. Breathe in, keeping your attention on that centre spot. Then as you breathe out, imagine that you see a flower opening its petals, right there, in that spot. Draw in breath again, and allow it to flow into the unfurling flower. If you want to, as you breathe in you can repeat the affirmation…. Please try this little exercise…even if you are sceptical! I can guarantee you the results will startle you!!!

Angel Insights : Angels also know that the big things—building a career, working on a relationship, starting a family, saving money, earning a degree—can be challenging. Big projects can take a long time to pull off. Big projects are roller coasters of wins and losses, peaks and valleys. And there is only so much control we have over the big things in life. Some of these outcomes are in the hands of Spirit, or are at the mercy of people and factors we can’t do much about, like the will of others, the state of the economy, etc. When we get too caught up in our big projects and schemes, or if we’re frustrated that the big things don’t seem to be going our way, stepping back and turning our attention to the little things can be very calming and healing. Just like concentrating on angels is calming and healing, concentrating on the little things is calming and healing.

Tarot Card Meanings: Three of Cups;  In some sources this is considered a warning against carelessness whilst others suggest it symbolizes parties, celebrations and joy.  Usually best read in relation to the cards around it.  Reversed; generally cause to regret our actions.

Reversed Cards: At the beginning of this section, I discussed how the nine in numerology is the end of a cycle. The Nine of Coins of The Raven’s Prophecy Tarot features only a fully bloomed rose and could not capture this energy any more perfectly. But what happens next? Once something has bloomed, it has nowhere else to go. The growing is done, and the only thing left is to be transformed by death. This is a very real fear for a lot of people; if they allow themselves success or happiness or even love, once it is obtained, there will be nothing left but to die. This fear can be so strong that it acts as the biggest self-destruct button you have ever created! Be mindful when this card shows up in the shadow aspect.

Reversed Cards: There is one more important component of a retrograde period: stillness. It is said that in the beginning and ending of these planetary cycles the planets slow down so much they appear to have stopped. How often do you just sit silent and still with information, people, situations, or anything, really? When a card comes up in a retrograde aspect, stillness will be required. Perhaps you could see this as a way of becoming a detached observer in your own life or current situation. For when we have to backtrack, go over already known content, or sit still, there is a high level of awareness that must be activated in order for us to gain what we need in order to move forward.
