Career, Work Or Retirement:
With the Three of Cups reversed, it’s important to consider how your personal relationships are going at work. Envy or jealousy can be an issue now. The mood in general in your working world should be relatively pleasant. If you are looking for work, you should be quite successful (perhaps surprisingly so) at how well things work out for you. So don’t give up.

The Three of Cups is often considered to be a card of ‘reunions.’ But this is not always a romantic reunion, alas it’s reunion in the broadest sense, running back into (or meeting with, purposefully) someone or something that you have been away from for some time. It’s generally considered to be a happy reunion, an upbeat card.

Here are some snippets from a few of my favorite books
Portable Magic: In ordinary Western ceremonial magic, the astral space is usually of the same dimension as the physical place in which the ritual is worked, and often has roughly the same appearance. For example, a ritual might be worked in a room on which a magic circle has been drawn on the floorboards with chalk. The chalk line is only the material model for the magic circle, which does not really come into being until it is created in the astral space by the imagination. The astral circle is visualized in the astral equivalent to the physical room as a glowing band of light that floats upon the air at heart level above the physical circle of chalk. Both are held in the mind, which dances from one to the other and in this way sustains them. The magician is aware of the chalk circle, and also of the glowing astral circle above it.

Tarot Ultimate Guide: You will find that with the three of cups, you are looking at a card based on reunions. Overall, you will notice that things are not too bad. You may find something that you thought was lost to you.
Tarot Triumphs: So in this interpretation of the Hanged Man, we see a figure who chooses to be upside-down and has trained himself to do so. Children love to look at the world the other way up; as a little girl, I used to hang head down off my bed, getting a vivid new perspective of the lino and the fluff balls lying beneath. I’ve also seen kittens playing similar games. In this light, the main meaning of the card becomes that of skill and balance, and it indicates a willingness to let the usual viewpoint fall away and enter the world of topsy-turvy. The Hanged Man frees himself from conventions. He is alsobut not historically, perhaps, in terms of Tarotthe shaman on a vision quest, relinquishing normality to receive gifts of prophecy and healing. This is similar to the description of the ordeal that the Norse god Odin underwent, hanging upside-down from the sacred world tree for nine days and nights, sacrificing himself in order to acquire divine knowledge. Ideas of acrobat and shaman do combine well here, for both are entrusting themselves to a reversal. The acrobat must trust his training and the strength of the rope. The shaman goes willingly into the unknown, ready to be shaped by what he encounters there.

Reversed Cards: The Seven of Cups in the shadow aspect can be a trap, especially if it keeps showing up. Visualizing and fantasizing certainly has its place in the manifestation process, but it is not a place we are meant to permanently live in. I have seen many people get so caught up in their fantasy worlds that they become totally disconnected from their actual lives. They become untethered and find it hard to ground and function in their daily lives. In many ways, this card has a way of seducing you into the shadows of your mind and holding you hostage. Be careful when this card shows up that you are not allowing your fantasy world to pull you off the path to the life you actually want to live.
