Faith, Spirituality Or Psychic Progression:
When you draw The Fool reversed in the context of spirituality, you may be considering leaving a religion/spiritual tradition which has been part of your life for some time. You are likely to have a desire to try out lots of different approaches to spirituality to see how they ‘fit.’ Nothing wrong with this exploration, however don’t get too carried away in any one thing while you are ‘just shopping.’ This card can indicate a powerful need to get deeper knowledge about spirituality, and your friends and family may not understand where this is coming from. Regardless, you have to do what is best for you, no matter what they think. Bear in mind that exploration is not the same as commitment.
Card Meanings: Hesitation, Bad Choice, Indecision, Apathy, Distraction, Carelessness, Injustice, Irrationality, Stupidity, Negligence, Lack Of Fun, Recklessness
The Fool is always an indicator of newness in one form or another. In many ways it indicates the purity, the open-hearted energy, and the innocence of a child. Children are trusting and trust forms the basis of meaning for this card. This is generally considered a positive card but there is a caveat. The caveat being that it is important to take time to be sure that you are looking where you’re going. Trusting yourself to take a step into the unknown is one thing, but doing so without any thought whatsoever may be a mistake.

Here are some snippets from a few of my favorite books
Elements of the Psychic World: Although the spiritual healer acts as a channel he or she still needs to have innate healing or psychic ability. Healers sometimes touch the person in need of healing to concentrate and focus the energy; at other times they keep their hands just above the body. Sometimes healing takes place from a distance (see absent healing).

Portable Magic: A mature woman who is affectionate, large hearted, intuitive, sensible, and down to earth, with a practical approach to life. Her worst qualities are a tendency to become addicted to drugs, alcohol, or sex, and to be servile and foolish.
Creative Tarot: Its easy to see why artists in particular connect to the deck. Tarot readers tell storiesstories that might not always have a logical sense but have instead an intuitive meaning. The story is guided by a feeling, or perhaps the mood a color suggests to the reader, or strange coincidences in the pictures. (For instance, on one card, three figures are hunched over their work, so that might be relevant because . . .) That is a creative act. And so artists, used to working in that way, often take to the decks like ducks to water.

Angel Encyclopedia: Angel who oversees and protects childbirth. The name Laylah derives from the Hebrew word layil, meaning ‘night.’ In Jewish lore, Laylah is portrayed as being both good and bad. In the Zohar and Talmud, he guards birth and the newborn, and he proclaims if the individual will be strong or weak, wise or foolish, and rich or poor. Elsewhere he is said to fight for ABRAHAM in his battle against kings. In other Jewish lore, Laylah is similar to Lilith as a DEMON of the night who attacks those who sleep alone and as a ‘prince of conception.’ See CHILDBIRTH ANGELS.
