The problem with any abuse is that it lingers. It conditions us to think, feel, and react in very specific ways. Holding on to this unwanted mental baggage is a choice, and letting it go takes time and consistent effort. The Six of Swords in the mirror aspect shows us where we are in that letting-go journey: heading away from the past and into an unknown future.
