Romance, Love Or Relationships:
With regards to love, the only caution with this card is to beware the impulse to be too forceful. We’ve all been told that we’ll get more flies with honey than with vinegar, and there’s truth to this. Your mother or a mother-like figure may interfere in your relationship, whether she means to or not. Figure out where your boundaries lie with this, and let her know.
Card Meanings: Realistic, Principled, Independent, Divorced, Open-Minded, Brave, Clever, Sophisticated, Strong, Skillful, Fair, Repressed Pain Or Sadness, Intelligent, Mother, Problem Solver, Rush, Discerning, Self-Reliant, Funny, Candid, Constructive Criticism, Communicative, Sceptical, Witty, Objective, Sharp Wit, Honest, Truthful, Protective, Chatty, Quirky
The Queen of Swords can point to a woman in the querent’s life. This is a woman who is not to be trifled with. Often she will have dark hair and/or eyes. If not a person, she can point to the need for you to be forceful and honest in some situation to get your needs met. You may need to put your foot down.

Complete Book of Tarot: Astrology: The emotional and inconstant Moon in the first decan of airy Libra, realm of the Queen of Swords (Water of Air) and Justice (Libra). The Moon is linked to the High Priestess. The airy Queen of Swords gives birth to the season of autumn at the start of Libra.
Complete Book of Tarot: My longstanding interest in astrology has prompted me to study the attributions of the Golden Dawn and their tarot associations to supplement my understanding of an astrological birth chart. The natal horoscope is simply a map of the heavens centered around ones birthplace on Earth and calculated for the exact moment when you emerge as a separate individual from your mothers womb.

Complete Book of Tarot: At the end of the second week, she sent an e-mail explaining that her husband had been taken by ambulance to the hospital and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. She had remained with him at the hospital and did not have access to a computer to get in touch with the group. Her life had been totally turned upside down. She was not sure when she could return to the group because she and her husband were facing nonstop visits with doctors, nurses, and therapists, and she didnt know how long it would last. The image on the Ten of Swords card captured quite well her experience of her husbands illness. Fortunately he was eventually released from the hospital and made a slow recovery, perhaps symbolized by the bright sunlight in the distant background on this card.
