Faith, Spirituality Or Psychic Progression:
This is a very spiritual time and a great time to get a reading, healing work, or other helpful input from spiritual types. You are more psychically open than usual now; pay attention to your thoughts and feelings, and to flashes of information that come seemingly out of nowhere. This is also a great time to access the great spiritual books of the world – you’ll get more out of them than usual.

Luna indicates that things may seem somewhat confusing to you now. You may find it hard to understand where you are coming from, much less what others are thinking and feeling! You need to try to sit with the uncertainty, don’t try to force things or people to do things before they are ready. This card is the ‘Pisces’ of the deck.

Here are some snippets from a few of my favorite books
Portable Magic: The technique of projecting the point of view, or self-awareness, outside the body requires practice, but such projection is an established part of Western magic as well. It is used for a variety of purposes, such as projecting the self-awareness through an astral doorway during scrying or soul flight, or into a god form when invoking a higher spiritual being. It is a technique every person serious about magic must learn sooner or later, and it is not very difficult. Any beginner can project his or her self-awareness to a limited and partial degree, although full perfection of the technique requires months or years of practice. A virtue of Tarot magic

Portable Magic: In associating the particular letters to each planet, the learned Jesuit Athanasius Kircher allots Beth to the Sun, Gimel to Venus, Daleth to Mercury, Kaph to Luna, Peh to Saturn, Resh to Jupiter, and Tau to Mars. Kalisch in the supplementary paragraphs gives a different attribution; both are wrong, according to clairvoyant investigation. Consult the Tarot symbolism given by Court de Gebelin, Eliphas Levi, and my notes to the Isiac Tablet of Bembo. The true attribution is probably not anywhere printed.
Tarot Triumphs: 13 I have seen two illuminations illustrating the text of La Somme le Roy, dating from the turn of the fourteenth century, which both show Prudence as a crowned female figure instructing a crowd of respectful supplicants from a book or scroll. Prudence has been singled out as the cardinal virtue not present in the Tarot pack: Justice, Strength, and Temperance are all there. However, if these cardinal virtues do form a part of the Tarot structureand this is debatablethen aligning the High Priestess to Prudence does make sense, and it completes the quadruplicity of virtues.

Elements of the Psychic World: In general, although not always, magic worked with the moon is considered womens magic. This is because the moon is recognized as having a profound effect upon menstrual cycles and the tides. (In ancient times women would often withdraw to huts during menstruation to contemplate and absorb the power of the dark moon.) In many (but not all) cases lunar deities are female and the moon is most often personified by the Triple Goddess -virgin, mother and crone – represented by the classical goddesses Artemis/Diana, Selene and Hecate.
