Well-Being, Physical Health Or Mental Health:

When you see The reversed Eight of Swords in the context of a health question, it points to things not being clear with the physical body. This is a very important time to pay attention to any symptoms that you might be having, and is also a very important time to seek advice from a qualified medical professional. Self-treatment when this card appears is not advisable. You need to know exactly what you are dealing with. Still, don’t panic. Just have a check-up.

Card Meanings: Healing, Oppression, Standing Up To Abuse, Paralysis, Escape, Finding Solutions/ Options, Hopeful, End Of Punishment, Relaxation, New Beginnings, Freedom, Overcome Obstacles, Release, Relief, Prison Release, Facing Fears/ Truth, Releasing Anxiety, Clear Mind, Empowered, Severe Depression, Survivor, Mental Strength, Self-Belief, Taking Control

When the Eight of Swords appears, you may be holding yourself back because you fear moving into the future, or because you are wary of getting hurt by a new situation, or maybe for no reason at all. Think through what it is that you’re afraid of. The truth of the situations are probably much less frightening than your mind is making it out to be.

Elements of the Psychic World: There are several different types of clairvoyance, including the ability to see auras (auric sight), to see into the past (retrocognition) or into the future (pre-cognition). Different states of clairvoyance also include the ability to see through objects (X-ray vision), the ability to see health conditions in other people or animals (body scanning), the ability to see things from far away (travelling clairvoyance), the ability to experience visions in dreams (dream clairvoyance), the ability to see things that transcend time and space (spatial clairvoyance), and the ability to see astral, etheric and spiritual or divine planes (astral and spiritual clairvoyance).

Angel Insights : The dove has more in common with angels than just its white-feathered wings. Like angels, the dove is a symbol of Spirit in many religions. In the Bible, the Holy Spirit is often described as descending to earth in the form of a dove. Many ancient goddesses, including Ishtar, Venus, and Aphrodite, are depicted with doves. And legend has it that onlookers saw a dove fly away from the stake when Joan of Arc was burned and killed for revealing that she had spoken with Archangel Michael. Today we usually associate the dove with gentleness, grace, and peace. These are also cardinal character traits of the angels, so you can be sure that if you’re encountering doves—in nature, on television, or in art—you are being given a sign from your guardian angels that you would do well to embody the peaceful, graceful, gentle essence of the dove.

Reversed Cards: The Lovers card is in my mind one of the most misunderstood and misinterpreted cards in the tarot. For this, I blame its number association, six. Of all the cards in the tarot, the Lovers is the most romanticized. Just like a typical six, romance plays a big part in its vibration, so it is not hard to see how the lovers have been weighed down with elements that only tell part of the story. The Lovers is not so much the card of romantic love, but the card that tests your levels of commitment, loyalty, fidelity, and unconditional love. Commitment is what a six does best. It loves commitment…until it doesn’t. Then the six will run as far and as fast as possible. One could say that both the six and the Lovers can be somewhat fickle. When a six is challenged, it is because of two very distinct reasons, one being that it has overcommitted itself and created its own beast of burden. And the second is when reality has not matched up to the ideal romance inside its head. And so it is in the Lovers reversed.
