Your Chosen Card – Master of Wands Reversed Mage Deck
When reversed, the King of Wands may come across as rather domineering and egotistical. His excessive pride and arrogance often turn people off. His stern and intolerant opinions can cause difficulties for those who are in relationship with him. Religious versions of the reversed Wand King relish the words of Ephesians 5:22: ‘Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord’ (KJV).

In the foreground, the hot dry dessert becomes a setting for the throne capped with the head of a lion. The salamander at the Kings feet is associated in mythology with Fire; the Central European ‘fire salamander’ has fiery golden-yellow markings on its back.)

Here are some snippets from a few of my favorite books
Complete Book of Tarot: Waite (1911): A goodly personage has feasted to his hearts content, and abundant refreshment of wine is on the arched counter behind him, seeming to indicate that the future is also assured. The picture offers the material side only, but there are other aspects. Divinatory Meanings: Concord, contentment, physical bien-être; also victory, success, advantage; satisfaction for the querent; (R) truth, loyalty, liberty; but the readings vary and include mistakes, imperfections, etc.
Complete Book of Tarot: Card 1, past influences: The King of Wands. The querent felt that the King of Wands referred to his active role in helping his son to find a lawyer.
Reversed Cards: All work and no play makes you a workaholic! I have always thought that the reversed aspect of this card is someone who has allowed their work to be the one and only focus of their lives or needs to be the best at their work. Here in the blocked aspect I think we can take this even further and say that right now work has become your way of denying what else is going on in your life. Remember, eights like to expand. They like to grow and roam free with force and purpose, and when one area of their life feels restricted and uncomfortable, it is very easy for the eight to find another area to throw itself into. Avoidance and denial never make anything better; they merely put off the inevitable.

Development for Beginners: In his newer show John Edward Cross Country, Edward conducts completely ‘blind’ readings for people, meaning that he is not supplied with any form of information about the people themselves or who they are trying to contact. Edward simply allows his spirit guides to provide him with direction.
