Your Chosen Card – Lord of Wands Upright Salem Deck
Princes correspond to the element Fire, which suggests action, enterprise, movement, novelty, and excitement coming into your life. When upright, the Prince of Wands advises you to get ready for an exciting ride as he adds spice to your life. Change is in the air. This knight loves to travel. He readily picks up roots to move to a new location, so a change of job or residence is possible. The Wand Prince is full of surprises, and you can expect the unexpected. Hollywood actor James Dean might be considered a prototype for this very fiery knight.

Here are some snippets from a few of my favorite books
Elements of the Psychic World: The Rider Waite deck still sets the standard today among tarot packs, even though hundreds of other tarot decks with different designs and themes have since been designed and published. Many of these new designs have broken away from the traditional symbolism and names.
Complete Book of Tarot: As a second illustration, consider the Two of Cups, which was the first card to which the counting method guided us from the querents significator, the Knight of Wands. In this spread, the Two of Cups (Water, cold + wet) lies between a Cup (Water, cold + wet) and a Sword (Air, hot + wet). The ‘cold’ of the Cup on its left cancels the ‘hot’ of the Sword on its right, leaving an extra amount of the quality of ‘wet’ to enhance the already ‘wet’ property of the Two of Cups. Thus, we might expect the Knight of Wands to go with the ‘wet’ flow and lose himself in the relationship suggested by the ‘wetter’ Two of Cups.
Complete Book of Tarot: About a decade after reading Eden Grays book, I made a decision to master the tarot. My method was to read everything I could about the cards and do hundreds of readings, taking careful notes and following up on the outcomes. It dawned on me (Im a slow learner) that although reading books about tarot is helpful, the best way to learn is to use the cards often and review consistently how the symbols in the cards play out in real life.
